The 2010-2011 planting objectives for Devonshire (phase 5) and New Cavendish Streets (phase 6) have now been successfully delivered. 52 and 49 new pear trees now line Devonshire Street and New Cavendish Street respectively. The planting process, though slightly delayed due to January’s big freeze, was completed by the end of February 2011.
This is a fantastic result for the community as it ‘greens’ two major east-west pedestrian corridors through our neighbourhood.
