Westminster City Council has now closed its consultation process for street design practice and principles and also regarding the role of trees in the Borough. The process ran from 17th January until the 28th of February 2011.
The draft Trees and the Public Realm – a tree strategy for Westminster identifies specific opportunities for planting in Marylebone. Although the term Areas of Caution is still being applied to East and West Marylebone, the classification will notably no longer be seen as a prohibition on further greening in our historic area.
